  • GMU’s AI Guidance and Resources -Provides institution-specific guidance on responsible AI use, emphasizing academic integrity, privacy, transparency, accessibility, and human oversight. This helps teacher educators align AI integration with university policies and ethical practice.
  • Digital Education Council AI Literacy Framework -Identifies five dimensions of AI literacy: understanding AI and data, critical thinking and judgment, ethical and responsible AI use, human-centricity/creativity, and domain expertise. Particularly useful because it connects general AI literacy to disciplinary practice, making it highly relevant for teacher preparation programs.
  • EDUCAUSE AI Literacy in Teaching and Learning (ALTL) -Offers a higher education framework for students, faculty, and staff centered on four areas: technical understanding, evaluative skills, practical application, and ethical considerations.
